![]() In the post-credits, his brain is revealed to have escaped in a mini saucer. Bagura's body did not survive, but a light is shown emitting from his body. The heroes entered his ship and were able to take him and the Dastardly Bombers down, rendering them unconscious as the ship exploded. White Bomberman and Black Bomberman were able to attack and defeat the Bombers, but upon losing control of the planets, Bagura targeted the planets for destruction with his Battleship. In Super Bomberman 3, Bagura, now known as Professor Bugler or Professor Buglar, appears as the master of the resurrected Five Dastardly Bombers, taking over five planets of the Bomber Nebula. After defeating him and his dragon robot, he revealed his Bomberman form, but was still no match for the original. Bomberman infiltrated it before it was too late and confronted Bagura. When his plans were ruined, Bagura sent his artificial comet on a collision course to the planet. Even though the planet shattered into smaller pieces, White Bomberman put it back together by repairing the Spirit Pictures. He attacked Planet Bomber with his Robot Army, splitting the Spirit Pictures to throw it into chaos. In Bomberman '94 Bagura, known as Buglear in the original version and Bagulaa in Mega Bomberman, was the main villain and final boss. In FF7, the characters look how you would expect a 16-bit sprite to look in 3D, but in FF10, they are detailed, well-rendered people.Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. You can also see this in the game's characters. It's technically the first 3D Final Fantasy, but the first fully 3D Final Fantasy was FF10. As a result, many PS1 and N64 games strike a natural balance between the "old" 16-bit style and the "new" style of the PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox. Because of the new 3D graphics, developers had to completely rethink their game design ideas from the 16-bit era. Also, I think that PS1 and N64 games in particular are important because that time period was a big transition for video games. ![]() It's good to go back and play these old games because you are forced to focus on each game as a whole not its graphics or anything. I have Final Fantasy VII on my PS3, and I just bought Xenogears for $20. Metal Gear Solid is one of my favorite games of all time. Hope this inspired some people out there! so i do that, and the games i don't want, i sell on amazon, and end up making my money back. Now i just do my retro game purchases over ebay, i notice you have a better chance of getting great deals on titles when you buy the lots. but i still got my games for unbareably cheap, and they had top quality disc cleaning machines there, so no scratches. that sucked, and things got worse there so i quit. after a while, the supervisors started to notice and they put the inventory on lock. i also was able to grab all 3 versions of resident evil 2 (gamecube, ps1, dreamcast)and a copy of nemesis. the only ps1 game they ever priced correctley was ff VII. i got vagrant story for 13.99 and i got xmen vs street fighter for 6.99. so i built up alot of my collection from there. so they end up with ps1 games that go nowhere. newbury comics buys things at their stores, and more times then not, the people aren't sure what and what not to buy. i'm sure your probably scratching your heads but i'll explain. there was a place for ps1 and dreamcast games. I was working at the newbury comics warehouse, in the used department, and when no supervisors were around, i would go into the inventory. I would say, in the last 5 years, I have gone from about 80% modern gaming and 20% retro to about 65% retro and 35% modern! I can see it getting to 80% retro and 20% modern as PC gaming declines and their are fewer modern games I want to buy. ![]() ![]() I also enjoy my retro PC games I own and also my Commodore 64 games I still own! They are all in the genres I really like, like adventures and RPG's with the odd classic that would cost me a lot more to find the PC version, like X-Com UFO Defense!!! I love RPG's and so bought 30 games for £10 ($15)! I then searched on ebay and got a PS1 emulator for my PC called Bleem, and since then I have been enjoying, right up to today, great PS1 games like Final Fantasy VII, Syphon Filter, Parasite Eve and Chaos Break, amongst many others! As they all worked on my PC through emulation I have bought another dozen RPG's spending about £20 ($30), I know have all the PS1 games I want, totalling around 40. I don't know if this counts, but about 18 months ago at a garage sale I found a box of PS1 games, mostly RPG's. ![]()
